Music Thing

Black and white digital painting of some kind of music themed knight-like character using brushes by Daarken, after watching a tutorial by Daarken where he makes a character picture. The picture is in black and white to get the basic tone and shape in, I might upload a coloured version of this at a later date.

Fishy

Drew this with biro, looks a bit like a koi fish but spinier. I messed up the scales slightly by changing the style, but because this was early on I don't think its too noticeable. The spine doesn't look quite right either. Otherwise this came out fairly well.

Nokia

This is a drawing of a Nokia 3410 phone. I might go over some of the lines using fine liner and add colour with watercolour paint to improve this picture.

Feathers

This is a drawing of a bird but with oversized feathers replacing multiple ordinary ones . I'm happy with how the feathers turned out however parts of the anatomy of the bird don't look right such as the legs and the body. Initially drawn with pencil then went over the lines using a fine liner and coloured using colour pencils.

Arm Muscles

This is a study of arm muscles which I drew using pencil and colour pencils.

Bug Guy

For an assignment colouring a line work using colours and textures from photographic references of other insects to get a bug-like effect as well as using tone so that lines were no longer needed. Overall pleased with how this turned out :)
